From Calgary - take the Trans Canada Highway #1 heading West, Canmore is approximately an hour from Calgary. Take the Three Sister's Mountain Village Exit 93.

From Banff - take the Trans Canada Highway #1 heading East, Canmore is twenty minutes from Banff. Take the First Canmore Exit.

Located on a quiet residential street in the Three Sisters Resort you will be surrounded by spectacular mountain peaks.  Just a short 3 minutes drive or 20 minute nature walk along the river to the heart of Canmore with unique shops, galleries, restaurants and wonderful pubs. There are two large grocery stores as well as a world class butcher, a great bakery and in my opinion, Le Chocolatier is one of the best chocolate shops this side of the pond.

Canmore boasts a great variety of restaurants, Chinese, Thai, German, Japanese, Korean, English, Spanish, French and of course Canadian.

Canmore also has great celebrations throughout the year – here are just a few…..Canada Day on July 1^st.  Come and enjoy our almost famous parade down Main Street with floats, bands, horses, fire trucks, cement trucks… and enjoy fireworks at the end of the day.  We celebrate Heritage Day on the August long weekend with a fantastic 3 day long Folk Festival – bring a low chair and enjoy the music as it bounces off the mountains that surround you.  September brings the Highland Games – we are all Scottish this weekend!  Enjoy Scottish dancing, games and of course a Caleigh to end the day. The Golden Eagle Festival arrives in October along with hundreds of Golden Eagles heading south for the winter.  Watch the sky and see how many you can count!!  The winter brings numerous other celebrations – come join us!
